HELP MY UNBELIEF

We must be careful not to let that thing we’re trusting God for become the lens through which we worship Him or pray to Him.
Pretty soon, without even realizing it, every prayer of thanks, every petition, every song with a healing line becomes about what you’re feeling you’re lacking.
You cannot sustain a life lived from a place of lack because that was never meant to be the blueprint of your life. Soon it will leave you bankrupt and feeling robbed all at the same time.
Lack is the total opposite of every part of who God is.
Holding God ransom to what you believe you deserve, holding Him ransom to the fulfillment of that promise is harmful to you, that kind of relationship can’t bare good fruit.
I can’t imagine how heartbreaking it must be if those you created, those whom you love most only came to you with a need, wanting something, and not just because they’re grateful for what they already have. I was that person for the longest time, and I’m so sorry for it.
I feel I robbed myself of the joy of having a full relationship with God.
He is worthy of every song, every prayer, every bit of praise we can offer Him, even if that prayer isn’t answered.
I had it all wrong, all twisted.
But I’m so glad I’ve realized this:
We don’t have to plead with God.
We don’t have to beg Him to hear us, to see us.
His eyes are ever upon me, upon you.
He’s not a malicious, egotistical father waiting for us to be broken at His feet so that He can release a miracle. On the contrary, I think He wants us to be fully whole without it. Fully loving Him, fully trusting Him without it, not until it happens, but in-spite of it!
There is no time stamp on the fulfillment of God’s promises.
The miracle is as much in the wait as it is in the fruition of it.
When we settle on the matter of God’s timing, we settle into the wonderful peace of God.
Rest in His promises, (which are steadfast and unchanging because He is the same as the day they were first uttered). Find confidence in His faithfulness to be who He says he is:
Jehova Rafa
Jehova Jirah
He is everything you need right now, and everything you will ever need!
Perhaps when we find ourselves at the point where we’re at peace with what we have, and what we don’t have, wants aside, perhaps then we create room for God to move. Where before there was so much begging and crying He did not have a chance to speak to remind us that He knows exactly what He is doing, He knows exactly what we need, that His timing is indeed perfect...that we need only be still and know exactly that.
God wants us to come to Him, because of who He is and how He loves us, not because of what He can give us.
This speaks to me 😭 so beautiful so true ❤️
